Rachel Maybury-Smith

Rachel Maybury-Smith is an accomplished Event Operations Manager with extensive experience in managing live events, public and trade exhibitions at The NEC Birmingham since June 2014. In this role, Rachel oversees the planning and execution of events while also fulfilling duty management responsibilities. Additionally, Rachel serves as an Event Safety Representative at Resorts World Arena under the NEC Group, focusing on public safety during events. Previously, Rachel worked as a Birmingham Cluster Manager and Deputy Site Manager for Covid-19 testing centers at Serco, and as a Sales Executive for The Ticket Factory, where responsibilities included ticketing systems and box office management. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Events Management from Leeds Beckett University, completed in 2013.
