Franklyn Akpebu has a diverse work experience in the construction industry, spanning over two decades. Franklyn began their career as a Quantity Surveyor and Estimator at Dodo Consult from 1997 to 2000. Franklyn then worked as a Mortgage Endorser for US HUD by contract with Optimum Management System from 2001 to 2005. From 2005 to 2009, Franklyn served as a Project Cost Consultant and Estimator at Gleeds USA Inc, where they analyzed project plans and specifications to determine project cost estimates. Franklyn also worked as an independent cost estimator for Gleeds between November 2009 to March 2010. In 2010, Franklyn joined DMS Construction Consulting Services as an Estimator before moving on to James G. Davis Construction, where they held the roles of Preconstruction Estimator from October 2010 to June 2012 and Preconstruction Manager from July 2012 to April 2016. Their most recent position was at The Neighborhoods of EYA, where they started as a Preconstruction Manager from May 2016 to December 2018 and later became the Preconstruction Director from January 2019 to present. Throughout their career, Franklyn has demonstrated strong skills in preconstruction management, estimating, and project cost analysis.
Franklyn Akpebu attended Mawuli Secondary School from 1983 to 1990. Franklyn then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Technology from Kwame Nkrumah' University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, graduating in 1997. Later, from 2000 to 2004, Franklyn completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance and Real Estate at the Daniels College of Business, University of Denver.
