The Network is the only professional association in the United States dedicated to improving the quality of organizations by equipping managers to become effective, “people-centered” leaders, through the Annual Management Conference and our Human Services Management Competencies.

The Human Services Management Competencies define characteristics associated with quality management and describe the skills needed by those working in management positions. Social workers possessing these competencies are qualified to apply for the Human Services Management Certificate issued by the Network.

The goal of the Network is to bring together prominent managers and leaders, aspiring managers, and students within the field to share ideas, discuss challenges and enhance skills.
