Mike Ferster

Mike Ferster is an experienced Upper School Language Fundamentals Teacher at The New Community School. Previously, Mike has worked as an Owner/Lead Orchardist at Woodside Pawpaw and as an Upper School Learning Specialist/9th & 12th Grade English Teacher at Hawaii Preparatory Academy. Mike has also worked as an Educational Consultant, Guides Director/Counselor, Special Education Aide, Production Assistant, Special Needs Counselor, and Sourcing & Purchasing Intern in various organizations. Mike holds a Master's degree in Special Education and Teaching from the University of Virginia, a Bachelor's degree in International Social Justice from Virginia Commonwealth University, and has also studied at SKEMA Business School.
