Stan Abbott

Stan Abbott is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in various consulting roles and authorship. Currently serving as a client communications consultant for Lundin Software and a communications consultant for Smart Grid Holdings, Stan also contributes as an Islands Correspondent and general feature writer for The New European. Additionally, Stan is the Chair and Big Weekend organiser for the Outdoor Writers and Photographers Guild and operates Gravity Consulting Ltd, a marketing and public relations consultancy specializing in destinations, airline business, and security. Previous roles include On-call Consultant for Atlantic Airways, Head of Communications at Lockpoint, and member of the Durham Business Group. Stan's educational background includes a BA Hons in French, Management Studies, and Arabic from the University of Leeds, supplemented by studies at the Institut Universitaire de Technologie in Limoges, France.
