Irene Liu has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and organizations. Irene started their career as a Clinical Intern at the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development in 2011. Irene then worked as a Research Intern at the NYC Department for the Aging for a few months. In 2012, they joined The New Jewish Home as a Development Intern and later became a Development Associate. Irene went on to hold positions as Manager of Corporate and Foundation Relations and Manager of Content Development. Currently, Irene is the Director of Communications at The New Jewish Home.
Irene Liu holds a High School Diploma from The Lawrenceville School. Irene went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Art History and Fine Arts from the University of Rochester. Following that, they pursued a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Penn State Dickinson Law. Irene later completed a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Nonprofit Management/Gerontology from Columbia University School of Social Work.
