Inez Gomez

Inez Gomez is an experienced editorial leader with a career spanning several decades in journalism. Currently serving as the Editorial Page Editor at The Santa Fe New Mexican since May 2005, Inez directs opinion coverage and writes daily editorials. Previous roles include Specialty Magazines Editor and columnist, providing a strong foundation in both editing and writing with an emphasis on political and cultural topics. Past experience includes positions at People Magazine as a Freelance Contributor, and editorial roles at Taos News, Santa Fe New Mexican, Albuquerque Tribune, and The Bradenton Herald, among others. Inez holds a master's degree in communication and public affairs from American University and a BA in journalism and political science from Texas Tech University.
