Demetric Mercadel has held various leadership roles in multiple organizations over the years. Currently serving as the Vice-President of St. Augustine High School Board of Directors, President of New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival & Foundation Inc, Southwest Regional Director of American Assoc of Blacks in Energy, Board Member of LA Center for Women in Government & Business, President of French Market Corporation, and Pastoral Council President of Corpus Christi - Epiphany Catholic Church. Mercadel also works at Entergy New Orleans, Inc. as a Customer Service Specialist II / Low Income Champion.
