Sharita Cenac

Sharita Cenac is an accomplished professional in the events and arts management sector, currently serving as the Congo Square Administrator for the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Foundation, Inc. since November 2014, overseeing over 105 national and international visual artists and vendors. Cenac also holds the position of Executive Director at the Idell-McCarthy Foundation, providing strategic leadership since October 2020, and is currently a Next Gem Femme Mentee with Femme It Forward. Recent experiences include facilitating premium guest services at Lollapalooza, assisting VIPs at the ESSENCE Festival, and managing talent movements for high-profile events such as the Essence Festival and NBA Allstar Weekend. With a BA in Public Relations from Tulane University, Cenac brings significant expertise and leadership in event production and artist management.
