Thomas McGovern

Thomas McGovern is an experienced professional in the film and media production industry, currently serving as an On Set Lighting Technician at Iatse Local 478 Studio Mechanics since February 2018. Additionally, Thomas has worked as a Freelance Camera Operator with AXIOM Live Media and as a Video Specialist with PSAV, both positions held since January 2016 and February 2015, respectively. Thomas's expertise extends to stage and rigging at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and as a Freelance Video Producer for various organizations, including Donate Life Louisiana and Rock On Foundation. Earlier career roles include a Printer's Assistant at City Screens from 2007 to 2009. Thomas holds a Bachelor's degree in Digital Video Production from The Art Institutes and a degree in Film from San Francisco State University.
