Chris Bonino

Chris Bonino has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Chris is currently the Chief Financial Officer at The New Primal, a position they started in 2021. Prior to this, from 2017 to 2021, they worked at Birch Benders, first as the Vice President of Finance, leading the financial operations of the company and performing various duties such as board reporting, budgeting, and treasury functions. Before that, from 2014 to 2017, they served as the Director of Finance at Onyx M.D., overseeing the financial operations of two businesses. In addition, they have experience working as a Contract Accountant at SM Energy and as a Transaction Advisory Services Manager at Ernst & Young. Throughout their career, Chris has demonstrated skills in financial analysis, budgeting, and team management.

Chris Bonino pursued their education by completing a Master of Science (MS) in Accounting from the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business. This academic endeavor took place from 1998 to 2003. Simultaneously, they also earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Accounting from the University of Colorado Boulder during the same time period. Chris further enhanced their qualifications by obtaining a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the State of Colorado in August 2006.
