Timothy Noah is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in various editorial roles. Currently serving as a staff writer for The New Republic since September 2021, Timothy previously held the position of labor policy editor at POLITICO from September 2014 to May 2020. Earlier journalism roles include contributing writer for MSNBC.com, senior editor and columnist at The New Republic, senior writer and columnist at Slate magazine, assistant managing editor and press columnist at U.S. News & World Report, and reporter for The Wall Street Journal. Additional experience includes a brief stint as a correspondent for Newsweek and as the issues director for the Kathleen Kennedy Townsend congressional campaign in 1986. Timothy holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Harvard University, earned between 1976 and 1980.
