Alexis Albertie currently serves as the Director of Academic and Faculty Development and Math Teacher at The New School in Atlanta since July 2020. Previous experience includes roles as Counselor and Connected Wellbeing Community Manager at Connected Camps from June 2021 to November 2023, where responsibilities involved overseeing operations for well-being events and managing counselor performance. Prior to that, Alexis worked as an Upper School Math Teacher at Mount Vernon Presbyterian School and as a Mathematics Teacher at THRIVE Academy Baton Rouge. Additionally, Alexis was a 2016 Corps Member with Teach For America and held student assistant positions at Georgia State University in the Information Systems & Technology Department. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Certificate in Instructional Design and Technology, a Master of Arts in Creative and Innovative Education, and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, all from Georgia State University.
