James Watson

James Watson is currently the Chief Financial Officer at CryoFuture since January 2023 and has been a Member of the Board of Trustees and Co-Founder at The New School in Atlanta since January 2013. Previously, James served as Board Treasurer for ATL Collective from June 2019 to July 2023 and was a Board Member at the Atlanta Music Project from June 2012 to June 2019. Additionally, James held the position of Director of Global Programs at Village Capital from February 2012 to May 2014 and worked as a Consultant for Gray Matters Capital Foundation in 2012. James also served as Lead Economics Teacher and founded the music program at Ben Franklin Academy from August 2007 to June 2012. Early career experiences include interning in development at The Carter Center in 2007 and tax and global mobility at Ernst & Young in 2005. Academic credentials include studies at the CFA Institute (2008-2010), Emory University (2006-2007) as a Robert T. Jones Memorial Scholar, and a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of St Andrews (2002-2006).
