Daniel Michalik

Daniel Michalik is the owner of Daniel Michalik Furniture Design, a furniture and product design agency in Brooklyn, New York, focusing on innovative uses of underutilized and sustainable materials. As an Assistant Professor at Parsons School of Design, Daniel leads projects in the BFA Product Design and MFA Interior Design programs, while also serving as the Director of the BFA Product Design Program, guiding its curricular development. Additionally, Daniel has held positions as a part-time faculty member at Parsons and previously taught at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Daniel's academic background includes an MFA in Furniture Design from the Rhode Island School of Design and a BA in Philosophy from Loyola University Chicago.
