Rhea Alexander serves as Co-Director of the Impact Entrepreneurship Initiative and has held multiple academic positions at Parsons School of Design, including Associate Professor of Strategic Design and Management and Co-Chair of the Faculty Senate. With extensive experience in design education, Rhea focuses on teaching design research, business innovation, and the socio-economic factors influencing contemporary work environments. Rhea is the Founder and Director of Parsons ELab, a business lab that promotes entrepreneurial practice and research. Rhea is also a member of the Board of Directors for the NYC Innovation Collective and has founded several design-oriented businesses, including Digs.com and D.I.G.S Wholesale/Retail Eco Home Accessories. Rhea holds a Master of Arts in Media Studies and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Environmental Design & Architecture from The New School, reflecting a robust background in both theory and practice in design.
