S. Phafa Roy

S. PhaFa Roy currently serves as the Assistant Dean of Academic Operations & Community Engagement at Parsons School of Design - The New School, with prior roles including Director and Associate Director of Operations within the School of Art, Design History, and Theory. Since 2012, S. PhaFa Roy has also been the Creative Director at Queen Geniuses, Inc. Previous experiences include positions at MoCADA, where responsibilities included buyer and digital content management, as well as teaching visual merchandising and marketing at the High School of Fashion Industries. Additional roles in graphic design, visual merchandising, and sales were held at various companies, including AFROPUNK and West Elm. S. PhaFa Roy holds a Bachelor of Science in Art History and Museum Professions and an Associate of Arts in Fashion/Apparel Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
