Jon Udell

Jon Udell is a contributor at The New Stack since July 2023, with extensive experience in software development and community engagement. Currently serving as the community lead for Turbot's steampipe.io since September 2021, Jon previously held the position of Director of Integration at Hypothes.is from March 2015 to September 2021, where responsibilities included building analytics systems and prototyping new features. With a background as a Contributing Editor at InfoWorld and an Evangelist at Microsoft, Jon has also produced innovative projects like the Thali data sync platform. Jon began a career in publishing as Executive Editor at BYTE Magazine and holds degrees from The Johns Hopkins University and the University of Michigan.
