The New Victory Theater
Christopher Totten has a diverse work experience in the education and hospitality industries. Christopher began their career in 2010 as the Chief Concierge at 70 Park Avenue, a Kimpton Hotel, where they worked until 2014. In 2014, they transitioned into the arts and education field, working as a Teaching Artist and Education Apprentice - Arts Administration at New York City Children's Theater. Christopher then joined The New Victory Theater in 2015 as a Public Relations Associate and later as an Education Programs Manager. In 2017, Christopher took on the role of Director, Creative Content at Teaching Artistry with Courtney J. Boddie. Currently, they are working at The New Victory Theater as the Senior Education Programs Manager and Assistant Director of Education/School Engagement, starting in 2018.
Christopher Totten obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Theatre Arts/Musical Theatre from The University of the Arts between 1998 and 2002. Christopher later pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Educational Theatre from New York University, completing their studies between 2013 and 2014.
