Lulu Garcia-Navarro

Lulu Garcia-Navarro is a seasoned journalist and podcast host with a diverse background in media. Currently serving as a podcast host and journalist at The New York Times Magazine since January 2024 and as the host of NYT OPINION at The New York Times since November 2021, Lulu has a wealth of experience in broadcasting. Previous roles include hosting Weekend Edition and serving as an international correspondent for NPR from November 2004 to November 2021. Lulu's career began at the Associated Press, where titled roles included staff radio correspondent and staff producer between March 2000 and October 2004. Additional experience includes freelance reporting for the BBC World Service and producing for the Latin America desk at APTN. Lulu holds a Bachelor of Science in International Relations and Affairs from Georgetown University and an MA in International Journalism from City St George’s, University of London.
