Diego Lasarte is a staff writer at Quartz since December 2022, previously serving as a news intern in commodities at Bloomberg News for a brief period from September to November 2022. Diego gained experience as a reporter at Vineyard Gazette, LLC from June to August 2022, and held the position of editor-in-chief at The Bowdoin Orient from September 2018 to June 2022. Additionally, a news intern in the metro section at The Portland Press Herald during the summer of 2021 provided valuable journalistic experience. Diego holds a bachelor's degree in English with a concentration in creative writing and history from Bowdoin College, studies at The University of Edinburgh in 2020 focused on English and Scottish literature, and completed education at Cambridge Rindge and Latin School from 2013 to 2017.
