The New Yorker
Jerald Lewis II is an experienced cartoonist and character designer, currently working at The New Yorker since July 2020. With a strong background in animation, Jerald has worked as a freelance character designer since July 2015 and previously held positions at Explosm LLC from July 2016 to March 2020, contributing to the popular series Cyanide & Happiness. Prior experience includes prop and character design at Bento Box Entertainment LLC from 2014 to June 2015, as well as serving as a staff member at SCAD Jen Library from January 2011 to March 2013. Jerald holds a Master of Arts in Sequential Art from Savannah College of Art and Design, completed in 2013, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Media Arts and Animation from The Art Institute of Washington, earned in 2009.
