Yasin Bennane

Yasin Bennane currently serves as the Senior Manager of Diversity, Equity, Access, and Inclusion at The Newark Museum of Art, a role initiated in September 2023. Previously, Yasin held various positions at the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs from September 2019 to September 2023, including Policy Consultant and Humanitarian Affairs Consultant, as well as an internship in Humanitarian Affairs. Prior experience includes working as an Administrative Assistant at Rutgers University–New Brunswick and serving as Project Coordinator at Echo100Plus in 2018. Yasin Bennane holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a focus on Middle Eastern Studies and Arabic from Rutgers University and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Political Science through the Rutgers University MA Program in United Nations and Global Policy Studies. Additionally, Yasin Bennane has studied at the University of Kassel.
