Shashi Patel

Shashi Patel is a seasoned professional in the hospitality industry with extensive experience in food and beverage management. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at The Newbury Boston since June 2021, Shashi previously held the position of Director of Banquet Services and Events. Prior roles include Director of Banquets at Revere Hotel Boston Common from October 2014 to June 2021, and Assistant Director of Banquets and Banquet Manager at InterContinental Boston from September 2008 to September 2014. Shashi began a career in hospitality as a Banquet Captain at Providence Marriott Downtown from May 2004 to June 2008. Shashi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Management from Johnson & Wales University, earned between 2003 and 2007.
