Web Development Intern at The Next IT Girl

Marry Kassa is an accomplished student currently enrolled at University High School Academy, set to graduate in June 2025. Currently serving as an MITES Semester Scholar at MIT's Introduction to Technology, Engineering, and Science, Marry was selected as one of 240 out of 4100 applicants, engaging in courses such as “A Beautiful Math” and “Science Writing and Communication.” As a Thrive Scholar, Marry is among 230 accepted to participate in summer courses at Amherst College focusing on English and Calculus I. In the role of Web Development Intern at The Next IT Girl, Marry actively contributes to promoting diversity in tech through website redesign and development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Additionally, Marry serves as the President of the National Society of Black Engineers, overseeing fundraising efforts and managing finances. Other notable experiences include working as a webmaster for Shadow Your Future, programming robots in JavaScript and Python, and conducting scientific research at Pioneer Academics on machine learning applications in celestial detection.
