Helen Mooney

Helen Mooney is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Head of External Affairs (Media) at NHS Confederation since January 2021, where previous roles included Senior Media Advisor and External Relations Manager (Media). Prior to NHS Confederation, Helen worked as a Senior Content Manager at ZPB Associates and Journalista, and served as a Communications Manager at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. Helen has also worked as a freelance journalist for over a decade and held the position of Senior News Reporter at Health Service Journal and a Journalist role at Legal Week. Helen Mooney holds a Master of Arts in Journalism from Goldsmiths, University of London.
