Paul Booth is a technical specialist with extensive experience in railway signalling and electronic system development. Currently serving as an Associate at The Nichols Group since April 2022, Paul Booth previously worked at Network Rail for over 21 years, most recently as an Engineering Expert within the CCS System Authority team, providing support for national ERTMS requirements. Prior roles included Principal Programme Engineer, where Paul Booth specialized in ERTMS/ETCS, leading system specification and design phases for projects like Crossrail and Thameslink. Paul Booth holds a BSc (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Salford, obtained between 1977 and 1981, and completed secondary education at Moorclose Senior High.
