Carol J. Sharp

Carol J. Sharp, MPA has a diverse work history. Carol currently serves as the President & Chief Executive Officer at The Night Ministry, a position they began in August 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Educational Consultant at Marybeth Kravets & Associates since January 2008. From November 2022 to August 2023, they were the Director of District Partnerships at Youth Guidance. Carol also served as the Director of Programs at Girls Inc. of Chicago from June 2017 to September 2022. Carol held the position of Director of College Completion (Central Office) at Perspectives Charter Schools from June 2014 to June 2017. Furthermore, Carol worked at the Chicago Scholars Foundation from September 2006 to May 2014, where they held different roles such as Senior Director, College Counseling & Community Partnerships, Student Programs Manager, and Program Associate. Lastly, they briefly worked as an AICP Exam Coordinator at the American Planning Association from January 2006 to September 2006.

Carol J. Sharp, MPA completed their Master of Public Administration degree with a focus on Nonprofit Mission Driven Management at IIT - Stuart School of Business from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, they obtained two additional certifications. In 2011, they received a certification in College Admissions Counseling from the University of California, Los Angeles. Most recently, in May 2022, they obtained The AllState Foundation Executive Leadership Certification from the Kellogg School Center for Nonprofit Management at Northwestern University.
