The Night Ministry
Mary Poliwka is an experienced Community Health Manager at The Night Ministry, leading medical and case management services for unhoused individuals in at-risk neighborhoods of Chicago since June 2017. Prior to this role, Mary served as the Interim Director at Fenix Family Health Center, providing strategic management for a nonprofit clinic. Previous positions include Nursing Research Assistant at ICAP at Columbia University, where data analysis contributed to a multi-country publication, and Associate Professional for the Pan American Health Organization, focusing on maternal and child health systemic reviews. Academic credentials include a Master's Degree in Population and Family Health from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a focus on Global Health from Northwestern University. Mary has also engaged in various research and consulting roles, developing expertise in healthcare logistics, grant administration, and nonprofit management.
