The Night Ministry
Milton Alvarez is an experienced professional with a diverse background in outreach, health, and community service. Currently serving as the Outreach Director for The Chicago Hope Project since July 2012 and as a Street Medicine Outreach Professional for The Night Ministry since January 2018, Milton leads a team that provides essential services to the less fortunate in Chicago. Additionally, Milton holds the position of Outreach Pastor at Cosmopolitan United Church since July 2017, running the Outreach Program and mentoring local students. Previous experience includes serving as an Auxiliary Police Officer for the Forest Park Police Department and working as a Fitness Professional at Lifetime Fitness from January 2013 to June 2015. Educational qualifications include training from The National Personal Training Institute (2012-2013) and Clinical Massage Jobs (2010-2011).

Mission Statement: The Night Ministry is a Chicago-based organization whose mission is to provide human connection, housing support, and health care to those who are unhoused or experiencing poverty. With an open heart, we compassionately accept each individual as they are and work alongside them to advocate for their immediate physical, emotional, and social needs while affirming our shared humanity.
