Zamashenge Buthelezi

Zamashenge Buthelezi currently serves as an Outreach Case Manager at The Night Ministry, a role held since September 2022. Previously, Zamashenge worked as an Instructor at Reconstruction US from August 2020 to March 2022, where responsibilities included leading remote K-12 Mathematics and Literature classes and preparing culturally conscious lesson plans for Black students. Additionally, Zamashenge was involved with the Grinnell College Sexual Health Information Center, initially as an Educator from September 2017 to March 2019 and then as an Administrator from March 2019 to March 2022, contributing to student programming and managing a substantial annual budget. Experience also extends to a Policy Fellow role at Planned Parenthood North Central States and an internship with Black and Borderless, alongside prior work as an Executive Assistant at Fieldwork, Inc. Zamashenge holds a Bachelor's degree in Area, Ethnic, Cultural, Gender, and Group Studies from Grinnell College, attained in 2021.
