Luke Oosthuizen

Luke Oosthuizen has a range of experience in various manufacturing and operations management roles. Luke is currently working as the Director of Operations at NORDAM since December 2023. Prior to this, they were the APU Manager at NorthStar Battery from May 2021 to December 2023. Luke also served as the Manufacturing Manager at Lekker Signs Inc from May 2020 to May 2021, and at Enersys Limited from December 2016 to May 2020. Before that, Luke held positions at Enersys Powertech as the Plant Manager from June 2015 to December 2016, and at Johnson Controls Automotive, where they served as the Manufacturing Manager from January 2013 to May 2015 and as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer & Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt from April 2005 to January 2013.

Luke Oosthuizen completed their education in a variety of fields related to industrial engineering. Luke obtained a Bachelors Degree in Operations Management from Nelson Mandela University from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued an ND Industrial Engineering degree at Port Elizabeth Technikon NMMU from 2000 to 2004, with a focus on Automotive Engineering Technology/Technician. Additionally, they attended Fachhochschule Braunchweig/Wolfenbuttel in Germany from 2003 to 2004, specializing in Automotive, Production, and Process Engineering. Luke also received further training in management development at NMMU Business College from 2008 to 2012. Luke completed specialized certifications in Six Sigma and Problem Solutions at Johnson Controls Automotive University in 2011 and a degree in Motion Time Measurement in 2010-2011.
