Wataru Nishimura

Wataru Nishimura is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Deputy Global Head of Project and Asset Finance at Norinchukin Bank since September 2023. Prior to this role, Wataru held the position of Executive Director of Project Finance at Norinchukin Australia Pty Limited from July 2020 to September 2023 and was the Head of Project Finance for the Americas at Norinchukin Bank's New York branch from July 2017 to September 2023. Wataru's career at Norinchukin Bank began in October 1999, where Wataru served as Vice President until July 2017. Wataru Nishimura holds a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from Northwestern University, completed in 2011, and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from The University of Tokyo, obtained in 1999.
