Lizzie Lunn

Lizzie Lunn is a seasoned professional in environmental policy and programme management, currently serving as the North East Programme Manager for the North East & Yorkshire Net Zero Hub with The North East Combined Authority since May 2024. Previous roles include Policy and Economy Officer and North East Programme Manager at the North of Tyne Combined Authority, as well as Policy and Scrutiny Officer at the North East Combined Authority. Lizzie has also held significant positions at the Energy Networks Association, including Policy and Public Affairs Officer, Policy and European Affairs Advisor, and Research and Policy Officer, contributing to the representation of critical energy infrastructure in the UK and Ireland. Earlier experience includes working as a Renewables Sector Analyst at The EIC and supporting sustainable initiatives at Newcastle College. Lizzie holds a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science from the University of Leeds and has studied at McMaster University.
