Emily Gazda

Emily Gazda, MBA, CPA, currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at The North Star Health Alliance and as a Senior Consultant for Wintergreen, advising rural health organizations on various finance matters. Previous roles include Vice President of Finance at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center, where Emily led financial operations for a community hospital, and Director of Finance at Carthage Area Hospital, overseeing financial reporting and analysis. Emily's career also includes positions as Controller at Geary Community Hospital, Senior Accountant at Carthage Area Hospital, and experience in audit and tax accounting with POULSEN & PODVIN, CPA, PC, and Dannible & McKee, LLP. Emily holds a Master of Business Administration from West Texas A&M University and multiple Bachelor's degrees in Accounting and Psychology from SUNY Oneonta.
