Kathryn M. Sullivan

Kathryn M. Sullivan, most recently chief executive officer, employer, and individual, local markets at UnitedHealthcare, brings executive management experience in nearly every division of the third-party payer sector in healthcare including financial, operations, marketing, managed care and benefits administration. While at UnitedHealthcare, Ms. Sullivan also served as a member of the inaugural UnitedHealth Group Cultural Leadership Team responsible for guiding and implementing the company’s Culture Map to include Vision, Mission, Values, and Behaviors.

Prior to joining UnitedHealthcare, Ms. Sullivan held executive positions at Blue Cross Blue Shield Association and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana. Ms. Sullivan serves on the Boards of Hanger, Inc. and Welltower, Inc. A Certified Public Accountant, Ms. Sullivan earned a master’s in business administration from Louisiana State University and served as a Fellow in the CEO Perspectives program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
