Kate Nolan

Kate Nolan has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Their most recent role is as the Manager of Communications & Outreach at The Northwest Seaport Alliance, which they started in July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Policy Aide for Seattle City Councilmember Sara Nelson from December 2021 to June 2022. Kate also has entrepreneurial experience as the owner of Kate Nolan, LLC from January 2020 to December 2021. Kate has held various positions in the public affairs and political sectors, including being a Project Administration Director at Intelligent Partnerships in 2019, a Public Affairs Associate at CBE Strategic from 2015 to 2019, and a Field Organizer for DelBene for Congress in 2014. Kate has also contributed as a Volunteer Corporation Member for the American Friends Service Committee from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they worked as a Translator and Library Aide at Tribunal Supremo de Elecciones in 2011. Additionally, Kate's experience includes serving as a Field Director for Branden Gemzer's 2010 Michigan House of Representative primary campaign from June to August 2010.

Kate Nolan attended Kalamazoo College from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Government. In 2010 and 2011, they studied abroad at Universidad Latina de Costa Rica, focusing on Human Rights and Spanish.
