David W. Shapiro

David W. Shapiro is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience in internal investigations, white collar defense, civil securities, and commercial litigation. Currently serving as a Partner at The Norton Law Firm since April 2019, Shapiro previously held the same title at Boersch Shapiro LLP from June 2013 to March 2019 and practiced as an Attorney at Law for a brief period in 2013. Prior to these roles, Shapiro was a Partner at Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP for nearly eleven years, and served as the United States Attorney for the Northern District of California from January 1995 to September 2002. In earlier positions, Shapiro was an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Arizona and an Associate at Cole & Deitz, focusing on corporate and securities law. Shapiro earned a JD from the University at Buffalo School of Law and a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing from Binghamton University.
