Lyla Max

Lyla Max is an accomplished fundraising and development professional with extensive experience in educational institutions and nonprofit organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Development at The Nueva School, Lyla previously held the position of Director of Advancement at Drew School, where responsibilities included overseeing fundraising and alumni programming. Noteworthy achievements include leading a team that raised $5.8 million during a major giving campaign at Marin Horizon School and establishing the first Development office at Marin Montessori School. Lyla’s expertise spans individual giving, major campaign management, and community engagement, supported by a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from New York University and ongoing professional development in areas of equity and coaching.
