Pauline McGowan is a seasoned professional in strategic planning and qualitative research with over 25 years of experience in the research industry. Currently serving as Head of Strategy and Qual Researcher at The Nursery Research & Planning since March 2005, Pauline has held various roles including Associate Director at SPA Research and Account Manager at Sadek Wynberg Millward Brown. Prior experience includes positions as Senior Research Executive at MORI and Research Executive at JRA Research. Pauline holds a BA in European Economics from Nottingham Trent University, which was completed in 1997, and completed secondary education at Sacred Heart School Ballyshannon.

‘Research that helps brands glow and grow’ is the simple expression of everything we do. We love this unfussy articulation of our work. While we use cutting-edge quantitative, qualitative and data analysis techniques on a daily basis, these are the means to an end. The important thing is what happens next; our role is to distil and interpret findings into stories and recommendations that are clear, smart and aid decision making. In terms of the projects and research we work on, we think of them as distinct but interlinked branches: we explore, nurture, evaluate and interrogate.
