John "Ed" Fanning Jr possesses extensive experience in telecommunications and technology management, currently serving as an Assistant to Bert Cooper at Clarus Wealth Advisors since February 2023. Fanning has a long-standing commitment to community service as a volunteer Technology Instructor at OASIS Institute since August 2011. Previous positions include Sr. Telecom Engineer for IVR Ops at ADT Security Services from January 2012 to May 2023, and Sr. Manager of VoiceOps at ACS, a Xerox Company for a brief period in 2011. Fanning held the role of VP Telecom Services at Saxon Mortgage from August 2001 to December 2010, and Telecommunications Manager at Scott & Stringfellow from 1998 to 2001. Fanning's career began in the US Navy, where leadership as Senior Chief Electronics Technician occurred from September 1979 to January 1999. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Global Management from the University of Phoenix and a BA in Business Administration from Carthage College.
