Alex Peet

Alex Peet has worked in a variety of roles in the product design and engineering industry. From 2012 to 2013, they were an Applications Engineer at Attica Components Ltd, where they were responsible for tool design and development, as well as management of manufacturing. From 2013 to 2016, they were a Design Engineer and Assembly Lead at Dyson, where they worked on the DC41 MKII and DC74 'Fluffy' vacuum cleaners, as well as a company-wide initiative to share design experience and expertise internationally. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Product Development Lead at Central Research Laboratory, where they worked with over 35 businesses and was responsible for orchestrating the right introductions. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Product Design Engineer and Head of Product - UK at Mous, where they grew the design team from two to fifteen and increased the product offerings from less than 100 skus to 300 skus. Lastly, from 2021 to 2022, they were the Director at Parallel Products Ltd, where they made original, personalized outdoor products.

Alex Peet obtained a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol between 2007 and 2011. Prior to this, they attended Stanwell Comprehensive.
