Jake Bowers

Jake Bowers is a seasoned IT professional with an extensive background in systems management and network security. Currently serving as a Senior Systems Manager at The Ohio State University since January 2017, responsibilities include risk management, data classification, PCI compliance, and incident response. Previously, Jake held various roles at Miami University from December 2003 to January 2017, advancing from Associate Systems Administrator to Systems Administrator II, where Jake contributed significantly to the administration of Active Directory environments and managed high-performance computing clusters. Jake also has experience as an Adjunct Faculty member at Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, holding a Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University in Health and Sport Studies, with a focus on Computer Systems and Computer Science.
