Jon Walden

Jon Walden currently serves as Senior Associate General Counsel at The Ohio State University and is a member of the Board of Trustees for Westerville Public Library, contributing to the Finance and Facility Committee and the Human Resource Committee. Previously, Jon held the role of Chief of Staff/Chief Legal Counsel at the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission, where responsibilities included advising on organizational planning, legal issues, and overseeing human resources and risk management. Jon's extensive experience includes positions as Chief Legal Counsel and Interim Executive Director at the same commission, as well as Assistant Attorney General at the Ohio Attorney General's Office, providing legal defense for various state agencies. Jon also practiced law at Bailey Cavalieri LLC and served as a judicial law clerk for Justice Deborah Cook at the Supreme Court of Ohio. Jon earned a J.D. from The Ohio State University and a BGS in Pre-law from the University of Michigan.
