Mara Frazier

Mara Frazier is an accomplished dance educator and curator with extensive experience in higher education and the arts. Since April 2019, Frazier has served as the Curator of Dance and Associate Professor at The Ohio State University. Previous roles include Media Designer at McGraw-Hill, Director at Group Action, and Dance Specialist at The Arts and College Preparatory Academy. Frazier has also contributed to the academic community as Adjunct Faculty and Graduate Associate at The Ohio State University, and as an Instructor at BalletMet Columbus, focusing on a range of dance styles and education for diverse audiences. Additionally, experience as a Fellow at the Dance Heritage Coalition involved enhancing accessibility to archival collections. Frazier holds a Master of Fine Arts in Dance from The Ohio State University, earned in 2011.
