Sam Craighead

Sam Craighead is an experienced professional in educational technology and professional learning, currently serving as the Associate Director of Professional Learning at The Ohio State University since September 2010. In this role, Sam leads a high-performing remote team dedicated to an institution-wide professional learning program, collaborating with senior leaders and experts to develop an adult learning curriculum that integrates technology and evidence-based teaching practices. Prior to this position, Sam managed a comprehensive professional learning certification program and directed classroom technology support operations, overseeing a team of 100 student staff. Additionally, Sam holds leadership experience as the President of the Groveport Community School Board of Directors, where initiatives included launching a 1:1 technology program and ensuring financial stability for the school. Sam earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from The Ohio State University and holds a certification in Audiovisual Communications Technologies.
