Wei Zhang

Wei Zhang, PhD, is a highly experienced computer scientist with a robust background in research and software development. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Berkeley Lab since March 2023, Wei previously held the position of Senior Member Of Technical Staff at Oracle, where significant contributions included designing an external service integration framework for OCI Big Data Service. Wei's research experience encompasses various roles at Texas Tech University and internships at Berkeley Lab, focusing on topics such as storage resource management, metadata search solutions, and geospatial data analysis. Wei holds a PhD in Computer Science from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor's degree from Hebei University of Science and Technology.
