Alina von Davier

Alina von Davier is an accomplished professional in the field of assessment and psychometrics, currently serving as an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Oxford and a Senior Research Fellow at Carnegie Mellon University since December 2022. As Chief of Assessment at Duolingo since January 2018, von Davier has also been the CEO and Founder of EdAstra Tech LLC since July 2020. Previous roles include Adjunct Professor at Fordham University, where courses on test equating, item response theory, and data mining were taught, and various leadership positions at ACT from September 2016 to July 2020.
