Katinka Joubert

Katinka Joubert is a seasoned copywriter currently working at The Old Shanghai Firecracker Factory since February 2022. With prior experience as a copywriting intern at M&C Saatchi Abel, where Katinka contributed to renowned brands such as Standard Bank, Lexus, and AutoMark, skills in proactive idea generation were further developed. Earlier internships at Grid Worldwide and freelance work with Á LA MODE included tasks such as brainstorming, proofreading, and crafting social media posts. Katinka's career began at Protea Boekwinkel, where responsibilities included bookselling and organizing events. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Copywriting from the AAA School of Advertising and a Bachelor of Arts in Language Practice from the University of the Free State, alongside additional training in copywriting for online marketing from the University of Cape Town.
