LaVon Smith currently serves as the Assistant Director of Human Resources at The Olympic Club, a position held since February 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Human Resources Manager at ASM Global/Moscone Center from April 2014 to February 2022 and as a Human Resources Consultant at Vine Solutions, where responsibilities included managing recruitment, training, and coaching for fine dining restaurant clients. LaVon held the role of Director of HR at Covenant Aviation Security from August 2005 to October 2013 and also served as Director of HR for Real Restaurants from 1998 to 2005, focusing on multi-state operations within the fine dining sector. Educational background includes a JD from SF Law School (2003-2007) and a BA in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts from San Francisco State University.
